Call for work!

You are invited to take part in the show A Sense of Place, opening on April 23rd at The Monarch Gallery.


A Sense of Place wishes to further establish a dialogue within the arts on the subjects of functionality, viewer interaction, and the art of generosity, and how these elements can work to create a holistic community.

How can design and alternative models of exchange influence our daily navigations?


Proposals for A Sense of Place are due on February 22nd and should include a 500 words or less tentative description of your idea that includes the anticipated dimensions, any presentation needs, viewer or collaborative interaction (if any), and any other pertinent information about the piece. Performance and installation work is welcome.


Send your proposals to asenseofplace@hotmail.com. You will be notified by March 1st. Selected participants will be invited to a dinner on March 6th to meet other participants.
